Cardiff Arms Park to host World's first ever deaf rugby international

Cardiff Arms Park is to host the world's first ever deaf rugby international to be played on an artificial surface as Wales entertain England for the Broadstreet Cup.

The current Deaf Rugby world champions will be keen to avenge last year's defeat at Fylde where England were victorious by 21 points to 8.  Since the first match in Banbury in 2004, Wales currently lead the series by 8 victories to 2 but will be anticipating another stern challenge in the New Year.

Wales Captain Gareth John said; "The whole squad is eagerly anticipating this game, which will be extra special playing at the world famous Arms Park. The games versus England are always a fantastic occasion and the artificial surface should allow for a great spectacle."

Kick off will be at 1.30pm with entry £5 for adults and free entry to children under 16.
